18th April 2010 Mt. Biking: Grafham Water Wind Direction: Wind Stength: light Surf / Sea State: Air Temperature: 16 Sea Temperature: Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: Our second weekend in a row away in the camper and what a great one it was :) We started off watching Northampton Saints beat Gloucester 38 - 23 at rugby to go top of the Prem. League !!! Then we drove to Grafham Water and the camp site was full so we parked in the fishermans carpark at a deadend in Grafham village right by the water and watched the sun set !!!! Then on Sunday after abit of a lay in and short walk we set off on a 3 hour+ cycle ride around Grafham in glorius sunshine.We made several stops including coffee and cake at the fishermans cafe and watched the dinghy racing,followed by a visit to Jonti's windsurfing shop,seeing loads of fly fishermen on the dam wall-sadly the fish were not biting :( on the the large bike shop to look at the very expensive stuff !!! finishing back at the van for a picnic by the water edge to read the papers !!!
